Market Analysis

All business exist to sell products and/or services. Generally speaking, products are tangible objects you touch such as a movie rental, a new tire, or pair of jeans. Services on the other hand are not tangible objects. Examples of services are a haircut, watching a movie in a theatre,  the repair job on your car, or a lawn care business.

Describing the products and services your business offers is an important part of your business plan. There are several questions you must answer in this part. Here’s the description of products and services worksheet.

An important first step for most businesses is to create a logo and tagline. Check out this Power Point about logos and taglines.
